Half way between Siliguri and Darjeeling is the quiet hill-station of Kurseong. You can get there by the heritage Himalayan Railway. Kurseongis as picturesque as a storybook - it is surrounded by the mistymountains,green valleys with wild orchids in bloom, and rolling slopes of tea plantations. There is also a pretty lake.
